The main objective of the various associations above is to manage and encourage participation of this sport in the Burton-on-Trent area. Crown Green Bowls is a game played by a wide cross section of the community on equal terms. The rules of the game are fairly simply and the basics are easy to learn. With a little guidance and tuition the game is easily played in a friendly environment but it requires a self-discipline, concentration and commitment to reach the highest levels. The level attained will depend on the skill and commitment of the individual but it offers opportunities to develop both individual and team motivation skills in a friendly yet competitive environment.
Further information on the game and the opportunities it offers can be obtained at club level or by contacting the appropriate secretary from the contacts given below. More information on the game and its rules can be obtained from the links provided in the "Web Links" section of this web site.
